NEW YORK & MIAMI--FROM: (September 07, 2023) The Digital Transformation Agency (“FROM” or the “Company”) announces it has completed its acquisition of Algoworks (“Algoworks”).

This integration bolsters the Company’s software product engineering capabilities, adding additional talent with expertise in design while introducing new practices such as Salesforce development solutions. Shortly before the incorporation of Algoworks, FROM partnered with Trivest Partners (“Trivest” or the “Firm”), a Miami-based private investment firm that focuses exclusively on the support and growth of founder-led and family-owned businesses in the U.S. and Canada.

Media Advisory Partners and Tween Waters, Inc. worked together in a buy-side mandate from Trivest Partners to identify and then acquire a digital services platform business. Media Advisory Partners and Tween Waters, Inc. identified FROM as the acquisition candidate and were instrumental in the deal structuring and negotiations, leading to a successful closing and acquisition of FROM by Trivest Partners.

CAMBRIDGE (December 12, 2022) – Cedar Pine, a Chicago-based private investment firm, has acquired PJA Advertising + Marketing (PJA), a leading B2B agency with deep expertise in innovation-driven markets.

“PJA’s specialization in life science, technology, and financial services dovetails with our interests and investment focus, said Mitchell Lederer, Managing Director of the newly formed Cedar Pine Marketing Services (CPMS). “We were drawn to their strategic practice and award-winning creative,” Lederer added. “They have a management team in place poised for the next chapter of growth. The 35-year strong Cambridge firm, which was among the longest standing independent advertising and marketing agencies in Greater Boston, was founded by Phil Johnson, who served as CEO of PJA until the December sale. Johnson will continue to consult with CPMS on its future strategy.

New York M&A firm Media Advisory Partners represented iSMG in the transaction.

Information Security Media Group, publisher of Bank Info Security and 29 other vertical news and information sites in the cybersecurity space, announced this month that it has acquired a majority stake in the B2B marketing agency Xtra-Mile.

The acquisition will bolster the capabilities of Princeton, NJ-based iSMG’s CyberTheory business unit, specifically in marketing automation and mar-tech stack development. A focus will be on emerging cybersecurity vendors just beginning their digital-marketing journeys.
